I am a Senior BACP Accredited Counsellor, who has trained to Masters degree level in face to face counselling and Diploma level in Online Counselling.I am a Level 3 ACTO Online Counsellor and Supervisor.
I am a qualified trainer, supervisor and online supervisor, working in the Counselling and Training profession since 1994. This has included positions within Voluntary and Charitable organisations, Education (Schools, FE colleges and University establishments in Leicester and Nottingham. East Midlands), Local Government, and the public sector, and Employee Assistance programmes. I have worked in private practice as a counsellor,counselling supervisor, and counselling trainer in Leicester since 1996. My counselling and supervision practice is now based in Walpole cross keys, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
My training, assessment and verification experience extends over the last 30 years. I served the full seven year term as an executive member of ACTO The Association for Counselling and Therapy Online and i am also a director of OCTIA.

I have written numerous articles based upon my experiences of piloting an online counselling service in a University setting and within private practice. These are available from the AUCC division of the BACP

I have written a Trainee and Practitoner Guide for Online counselling skills with Sage publications, which was published in 2008.

Diversity and Non-Discriminatory practice
During my 20 year employment period for the Leicestershire local authority training provisions, and subsequent career change into the counselling and supervision, I have received intensive training and practical experience of supporting others from diverse culture, disability, and sexual orientation backgrounds. This has been relevant in a training, counselling, and supervision context. I currently deliver training via OCST training programmes for non-discriminatory and inclusive practice, and guidance on how this can be effectively integrated into counselling and supervision services.
